The monumental bronze sculpture by the internationally renowned artist duo <span class=\"s1\">Coderch &#038; Malavia<\/span> captivates visitors with its expressiveness and symbolism. <\/p><p class=\"p1\">Before finding its permanent home in Moraira, the sculpture was exhibited in various European cities, gaining significant international attention.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">The &#8220;Gigante&#8221; is inspired by a Butoh dance performance by the artist <span class=\"s1\">Fred Herrera<\/span>. This dance style, originating from Japan, developed after World War II and represents the exploration of destruction, transformation, and renewal. <\/p><p class=\"p1\">The sculpture embraces these themes and symbolizes human resilience and the ability to find new strength even after severe crises. Particularly in light of recent global events, &#8220;El Gigante del Sal&#8221; has become a powerful symbol of hope and renewal.
